A 36-year-old man has been charged with raping a woman in Aberdeen.
It is thought that the distressed woman was found in the driveway of a home on Monday.
A man has been arrested and charged in connection with the assault in the Torry area of the city.
A Grampian Police spokeswoman said: "A 36-year-old man has been charged in connection with a sexual assault in the Torry area of Aberdeen.
"A report has been sent to the procurator fiscal."
It is not yet known when the man will appear at court.
