Two men have appeared in court on Wednesday in connection with a fire in multi-storey flats in Glasgow.
More than 30 firefighters tackled the blaze that broke out on the 14th floor of a block of flats on Wyndford Road in Maryhill.
Crews were called to the scene just after 2am on Tuesday and residents from the block of flats were evacuated until the blaze was brought under control.
Strathclyde Police said that two teenagers have been arrested in connection with wilful fire-raising.
Thamil Lahouaoui, 19, was charged with wilful fire-raising and culpable and reckless conduct.
His co-accused, 19-year-old Nabil Chakir, was also charged with culpable and reckless conduct when the pair appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court.
Both men, who were listed as having no fixed abode, made no plea or declaration at the private hearing and they were remanded in custody until their next appearance, which is expected to be next week.
