The body of a man has been found in an aqueduct in Edinburgh.
The discovery was made on Monday at 7:55am near Inglis Green Road in the capital.
Police are not treating the death as suspicious, but are asking anyone who may have information to come forward.
Cyclepaths around Slateford viaduct have been closed as forensic investigations are carried out.
A police spokesman said: "Lothian and Borders Police are investigating after the body of a man was discovered at the bottom of a viaduct in Inglis Green Road, Edinburgh at around 7:55am today Monday.
"Enquiries are ongoing to determine the circumstances surrounding this incident and anyone with information is asked to contact police."
