A fresh appeal for witnesses has been launched by police after an elderly man was robbed at a cash point in Edinburgh.
The 85-year-old was at an ATM outside the Royal Bank of Scotland on Nicholson Street when a man ran up and snatched a three-figure sum of money from his hand.
The suspect, who ran off towards town, is described as being white, 20-30 years old, 5ft 10ins tall, with an athletic build. He was wearing stonewashed jeans and brown shoes.
The incident happened at around 1.20pm on Saturday, 28 January.
A spokesman for Lothian and Borders police said: "The street was busy with both pedestrians and traffic, so we are appealing for anyone who may have been in the area at the time and may have noticed a man acting suspiciously to get in touch."
Anyone with information can contact Lothian and Borders Police on 0131 311 3131 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
