A couple have been found guilty of attempting to murder three of their friends in a row over missing cash.
Wayne Alexander and his girlfriend Nikita Thompson went to David Hoggan's flat on May 25 last year after accusing him of stealing £250 from them.
Alexander, 34, smashed a pint tumbler over Mr Hoggan's head and stabbed him in the left arm and on the left thigh.
Thompson, 26, slashed Mr Hoggan's girlfriend Kirsty Ogg on the leg and repeatedly stabbed his friend Bryan Simons, puncturing his lung.
On Friday, a jury at the High Court in Livingston found the pair, who had denied the attempted murder charges, guilty by a unanimous verdict.
The jury also found Alexander and Thompson guilty of being involved in the supply of heroin at Mr Hoggan's flat over a 15-month period.
During the trial, Mr Hoggan, 31, told how he bought the class A drug from Alexander and Thompson and sold it to fund his crack cocaine habit.
He needed to have staples inserted in two serious head wounds and stitches in the stab wounds after the vicious attack by Alexander.
Mr Hoggan said he witnessed Thompson stabbing Mr Simons in the chest and slashing Ms Ogg on the back of the leg during the incident in his living room.
The ex-boxer admitted he had fled London in 2009 after being axed in the head in a gang war over drugs. He also said that he had been a drug dealer since the age of 19. He is now part of a police witness protection scheme.
Alexander, who was treated in hospital for a cut hand the night of the attack, claimed under caution that he had been at his flat in Oxgangs, Edinburgh, all day.
But Mr Simons said he saw Alexander grab a pint tumbler and hit Mr Hoggan twice on the head with it. The glass shattered on impact and Alexander then repeatedly punched his victim, shouting obscenities about missing cash.
Mr. Simons told the jury: "He was punching Dave on the head, on the face, the chest - everywhere he could reach. He was literally pummelling him, punching the hell out of him like he was a punchbag."
He said of Thompson's attack on him: "It was a frenzy. She just came jabbing at me. She was screaming at me about money and shouting things like 'ya smelly wee tramp'. I was on the floor squirming about like mad trying to crawl away from the knife. She tried to stab me more than six times."
He said he eventually managed to escape from the flat, plugging the stab wound in his chest with a finger to try to stop it bleeding.
Former co-accused Paul Stirling, 29, nicknamed 'Mowgli', joined Alexander and Thompson in the dock after the jury returned its verdict.
He was earlier cleared of assaulting and robbing Mr Hoggan in separate incident, but pleaded guilty to an unconnected assault and robbery.
He admitted forcing 50-year-old Martin Cornelious to the ground, biting his ear and robbing him of his wallet, house keys and a bottle of vodka.
The attack happened in a common stair at Murdoch Terrace, Edinburgh on June 4 as Mr Cornelious, who has learning difficulties, was delivering the vodka for a local shopkeeper.
Advocate depute Alan McKay said Mr Cornelious described the incident as "terrible and scary" and was now worried about going outside in case he saw the accused.
Judge Lady Stacey called for a criminal justice social work report into Thompson's background before sentence, because she had not previously served a prison term.
All three will be sentenced at the High Court in Glasgow on February 29.
