Fifty firefighters have spent six hours overnight tackling a blaze which destroyed a garage in the Borders.
Crews were called to Bridgend Garage in Reston at 9.45pm on Thursday after the building caught fire.
When they arrived the flames had already caused part of the roof on the single story building to collapse.
It took until 4.30am on Friday for the fire to be put out and crews remained at the building to strip back what remained of the roof to make sure the flames had not spread.
A number of gas cylinders were in the garage and had to be cooled down with water to stop them from exploding.
Building control were called out to the site on Friday to assess whether or not the building was safe. Once allowed inside, a full investigation will be carried out by Lothian and Borders Fire and Rescue Service to find out what started the fire.
STV understands there are no indications the fire was suspicious.
