A former postman appeared in court accused of raping two women and harassing one of them afterwards on Facebook.
Peter Millar, of Mayfield Terrace, Scone, is alleged to have assaulted and raped one woman at an address in the Perthshire town between September 1 and November 30, 2006.
The 43-year-old is also charged with attacking and raping a second woman in Stormontfield, Perthshire, between February 23 and March 31, 2011.
He is also accused of causing the second woman fear and alarm between February 1 and November 26 last year by repeatedly sending text and Facebook messages to her, as well as harassing her with phone calls.
Millar is also accused of regularly watching her home and following her around.
He is also alleged to have shouted and sworn at an address in Scone on December 6, 2011, and threatened to kill the first complainer the following day.
Miller appeared briefly in private on a petition at Perth Sheriff Court on Friday and made no plea or declaration in relation to the charges.
The case was continued for further examination and he was released on bail.
