A teenager has been left burned after an oven caught fire in his home.
The 14-year-old had to be treated at hospital for his injuries after the blaze in Armadale, West Lothian.
Fire crews were called to the home in Hailestones Crescent at around 5.45pm on Thursday.
They managed to put out the fire in the oven as soon as they arrived.
The teenager had already been taken to St John’s Hospital for treatment to the flash burns.
A 39-year-old woman in the home was suffering from shock and given oxygen at the scene.
