Former Socialist MSP Tommy Sheridan has returned home after serving just over a third of a three year jail sentence for perjury.
After a year behind bars, Sheridan will spend the next six months on a home detention curfew.
The 47-year-old vowed that the fight to clear his name would go on. And he also signalled that he plans a rapid return to Scottish politics - by joining the campaign for independence.
Scotland Tonight discussed th controversial politician with his biographer Professor Gregor Gall and the Scottish Express columnist Dorothy-Grace Elder who corresponded with the former MSP during his time in jail.
