Snowfall and wintry weather could cause travel problems in parts of Scotland this week.
The snow is predicted to fall over central and eastern parts of the county on Tuesday morning.
Traffic disruption is expected in higher routes in Dumfries and Galloway, the Borders, Stirlingshire and Perthshire because of the snow fall.
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for the snowfall, which is expected to accumulate at areas 200 to 300m above sea level, as well as possibly affecting low lying parts of the country.
STV weatherman Sean Batty said on Monday: "A cold and frosty start of tonight is expected with rain spreading in from the west later on.
"As the rain moves in across colder air, snow can be expected over higher parts of Dumfries and Galloway and the Borders, as well as higher parts of Stirlingshire and Perthshire where several centimetres of snow are possible, which may lead to disruption on higher routes.
"While most of the snow will be over higher ground some slight accumulations are possible to low levels for a time. Milder air will move in throughout the day tomorrow with highs reaching 9C in parts of central Scotland."
