Two drivers have died after a car strayed into oncoming traffic on Edinburgh's city bypass.
One car was travelling west along the A720, west of the Sheriffhall Roundabout, at about 1.15am on Sunday, June 19.
Police said it collided with another vehicle travelling the wrong way.
Both drivers, a man and a woman, suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
There were no passengers in either vehicle.
Lothian and Borders Police are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the accident or seen either vehicle being driven eastbound on the westbound carriageway to contact them on 0131 311 3131.
