Armed raiders steal cash and alcohol from newsagents in Aberdeen

Armed raiders stole cash, alcohol and cigarettes from a store in Aberdeen.

Three hooded men took the four-figure sum of cash and goods from the RS McColls at Bervie Brow in Cove in a robbery at around 9.50pm on Thursday.

Grampian Police said the men entered the shop armed with a bladed weapon and demanded money. No one was injured in the incident but members of staff were left shaken.

The men responsible are described as being about 18 to 25 years of age and of average build. They were wearing hooded tops.
