Beautician Lisa Fulton entered the record books today after spray-tanning 78 women in one hour at Glasgow's SECC.
Lisa, who took up the challenge to help promote the Girls' Day Out beauty event to be held at the conference centre in November and to raise awareness of skin cancer, beat the previous Australian world record of 67 people tanned in an hour.
"I've been practising for weeks but even this morning I thought the record was going to be beyond me," said Lisa, 36, from Paisley, Renfrewshire.
"I'm absolutely exhausted but everyone at Girls' Day Out were over the moon.
"We didn't just beat the record, we smashed it."
