A 44-year-old man who died after being found with serious head injuries on a stairwell in the Cardonald area of Glasgow has been named as Joseph Kidd.
Mr Kidd was discovered on the stairwell at Tarfside Oval, where he was a resident, at 8.20 on the morning of Saturday September 4.
He was taken by ambulance to the Southern General Hospital but died the following day.
Police have confirmed that a 37-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the death.
He is presently being detained in police custody.
A full report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
