Police are investigating after a man was stabbed in Arbroath.
The victim was approached by two men in the Angus town's Sidney Street at around 8pm on Monday August 30.
He was then attacked with a knife by one of the males.
The pair had been in a dark blue or black new style Vauxhall Astra prior to the attack.
The first attacker is described as being of stocky build, with blonde hair and wearing black t-shirt, jeans and trainers.
The second man is described as also having blonde hair with stocky build but wearing white t-shirt, jeans and tan boots.
A Tayside Police spokeswoman appealed for anyone who witnessed the incident, or anyone who has any information that may assist officers with their enquiries, to get in touch with Tayside Police.
