Andy Murray's grandparents have led the tributes to their grandson after his epic victory at the US Open tennis championship.
Shirley and Roy Erskine watched in Dunblane as Murray beat Serbian Novak Djokovic in a five-set battle which lasted almost five hours.
Mr Erskine, 79, said Murray said the pair had been nervous as they watched the match at home.
He added that Murray had always had always had strong support from his home fans.
He said: "The support he's had in Dunblane has just been wonderful."
