A pensioner whose disappearance in Strathaven prompted a police investigation has been found safe and well.
Agnes Brotherstone, 72, of Park View, was seen leaving her home and getting into the blue coloured vehicle about 3pm on Monday.
Her family alerted police after becoming increasingly concerned for her safety when she failed to return home.
A Strathclyde Police spokesperson said the pensioner had been found in the Baillieston area of Glasgow on Tuesday evening.
They said: "Agnes has been found safe and well in the Baillieston area of Glasgow."
