Five men have appeared in court in Edinburgh, charged in connection with a series of drugs seizures.
The group appeared in private at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Thursday to face a series of charges relating to the recovery of drugs thought to be cannabis.
Officers from the Lothian and Borders force arrested the men following the recovery of an estimated £600,000 worth of illegal substances in the capital.
Xiakai Lin, 24, Jian Zheng, 34, Zhen Wei Cai, 25, Martin Jin Hua Yau, 34, and Lanhui Wang, 23, all made no plea or declaration to a range of charges relating to the Misuse of Drugs Act.
All five were remanded in custody.
The case was continued for further examination.
