Fire crews are tackling a large blaze at a house on a busy main road in Edinburgh.
Lothian and Borders Fire and Rescue Service said the blaze, on Colinton Road, was reported by a number of people, about 5.30pm on Thursday.
A spokeswoman said 22 firefighters were tackling the fire attended by a number of appliances, including an aerial rescue.
According to witnesses the Victorian house was well alight in the roof area.
No injuries have been reported.
