Lager bosses have today launched this year's T Break 2010 competition that will see a 16 unsigned Scottish bands play at the country's biggest music festival.
Tennent's Lager say the T Break Stage is "one of the highlights" of T In The Park - and are now looking for entrants to come forward for the competition.
The top 16 hopefuls, selected by a panel of industry experts, will take their places at the festival in July.
The bands who have been invited to showcase themselves at T in the Park will be announced in May.
George Kyle, Head of Sponsorship at Tennent’s Lager said: "We’re passionate about new music at Tennent’s Lager, and checking out the bands on the T Break Stage is always one of the highlights of T in the Park.
"Over the years we’ve seen the likes of Biffy Clyro and Paolo Nutini on the T Break Stage so we’re very excited to see what stars of tomorrow this year’s T Break will discover."
Dave McGeachan of DF Concerts added: "T Break is a great opportunity for new bands and each year we’re amazed by how much talent is out there.
"Over the years we’ve seen some brilliant bands take to the stage, including Biffy Clyro who are already confirmed as part of this year’s incredible T in the Park line-up.
"The judges really do listen to every demo so if you think you’ve got what it takes then send us yours- we look forward to hearing it."
Potential entrants should go to www.tennents.com/tbreak before April 16.
