A Scots lottery jackpot winner could be set to lose out on millions as the deadline approaches for them to claim the prize.
The winning ticket, bought in the Inverness, Nairn, Badenoch and Strathspey area is worth almost £3.7million.
Repeated appeals for the lucky holder to come forward have failed to unearth a victor and now they have just five days to stake a claim.
The winning ticket was purchased for the midweek draw on September 23 last year – the numbers were 23, 25, 28, 41, 46 and 47.
They have until 5.30pm on Monday March 22 to collect the bumper payout before it goes to ‘good-causes’.
Around £24billion of unclaimed prize money has gone to such causes since the National Lottery’s launch in 1994.
A National Lottery spokesman said: "The Lotto ticket hidden in a drawer, down the back of the sofa or just sat on the side could make you an instant millionaire.
"A life-changing cheque could be yours if you can match those six crucial numbers."
