A teenager has been arrested following an alleged burglary at the home of singing sensation Susan Boyle.
The 16-year-old has been charged in connection with an alleged theft from the property in Blackburn on January 26. He cannot be named for legal reasons.
Police say he will now be reported to the Children's Panel.
"Subo", as she has become known, had been recording a charity single to help raise funds for Haiti when the alleged break-in occurred. The Britain's Got Talent star now plans to leave her childhood council home and move to the upmarket Chelsea area of London.
The 48-year-old had insisted on staying at the house since she shot to fame on the reality show last year. However, her worldwide fame had prompted security concerns.
