A man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of 22-year-old Brian Lawrie from Musselburgh, who died at the Western General Hospital in Edinburgh on Tuesday, March 9.
He was being treated for injuries he received as a result of an alleged assault that happened outside the Wiremill Social Club in Musselburgh on Sunday February 21.
A 28-year-old man had already appeared at Haddington Sheriff Court in connection with this incident. He is expected to appear at the court again on Friday
