A 52-year-old man has died following a fire at his home in South Lanarkshire.
Firefighters and police were called to the house in the village of Douglas about 4.30pm on Wednesday.
The fire in Pathhead street was put out but the body of the 52 year-old man was found inside the building.
Investigators are looking to the cause of the fire, but police said there did not appear to be any suspicious circumstances.
A full report will be sent to the procurator fiscal after the investigation has been completed.
