Hundreds of ski lovers hit the slopes in the Cairngorms to set a new world record for the most people in kilts coming down a piste.
A total of 235 skiers and snowboarders descended in a line from the Ptarmigan Top Station on Cairngorm Mountain near Aviemore to the bottom where pipers led them across the line.
The world record-setting event also raised money for Maggie's Highland cancer charity, based at Raigmore Hospital in Inverness, and the Badenoch & Strathspey Schools Skiing Programme.
"It was absolutely terrific," said Cairngorm Mountain spokesman Colin Kirkwood. "A group of ski instructors danced a reel coming down the slopes and it was a great sight, which stretched all the way up the hill.
"People of all ages took part and everyone had a wonderful time. It was spectacular."
Conditions were described as "phenomenal" by mountain officials, while more snow has been forecast which could extend the skiing season.
