Police say they are ‘increasingly concerned’ for a man missing in Caithness in the Highlands.
Officers stepped up the search for Samuel ‘Sammy’ MacDonald on Tuesday with the use of sniffer dogs.
Mr MacDonald has been missing from his home in Lybster since Tuesday afternoon.
He is described as five feet nine inches tall, of medium build, bald, with a ruddy complexion and is normally seen wearing a green waterproof jacket and Wellington boots.
Police are asking all members of the local community to check all outbuildings on their property
Anyone who has seen Mr MacDonald or a man matching his description is asked to contact Wick Police Station on 01955 603551 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
