Police appeal: Missing teen Jay Mitchell
Grampian Police are trying to trace a teenager who has been missing for nearly a week.
Jay Mitchell, 15, was last seen on Sunday January 31 when he was dropped off by a relative in Elgin at 3pm.
Officers said it is possible that Jay has travelled out of the area as he is known to have contacts in Dundee and Inverness.
He is described as 5ft 10ins, medium build, blue eyes with short brown hair. He speaks with a London accent.
He was last seen wearing a black jacket, top with dark and light grey horizontal stripes, black tracksuit trousers, white training shoes and was carrying a black rucksack with a blue front.
Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
