In my view I think all the MP and MSP should pay the monies back. If that was the man on the street they would be up in the court and the monies would have to be paid back and they would have a criminial record. They are just abusing the system to benefit them selves. The second house should not be allowed for any of them in my view

I agree with cleaver, the 2nd house should not be allowed, full stop, no ifs or buts, just no 2nd home. In fact, why do they get their 1st home paid for them? Does anyone else in working life get their mortgage, council tax, household furnishings and travel expenses paid for them by their employer? NO they don't. Its just ridiculous. In my opinion the government should have accomodation buildings available for the MPs when they visit London that is close by to the parliament buildings that the mps pay a small rent for. Not free, not subsidised. I would also like to add that the only reason these mps are paying money back is because they got caught, if they hadn't been caught they would never have paid the cash back and continued to carry on with their false expense claims.
