An elderly woman has died in hospital two days after a road accident on Lewis.
The 81-year-old, who's not been named, was hit by a vehicle on the A857 at Ness on Friday afternoon.
She was transferred to the Western Infirmary in Glasgow, but died on Monday morning as a result of her injuries.
Northern Constabulary say a full road collision investigation will be carried out.
A report is to be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
