Firefighters battled a blaze for about 24 hours which forced 30 people out of their homes in Edinburgh.
Residents were evacuated after the fire broke out in a top floor flat on Saughton Mains Park at around 6.47am on Friday.
Lothian and Borders Fire and Rescue workers had to call for back up when the flames spread to two neighbouring flats.
At the height of the fire 50 staff were working at the scene. Crews used breathing apparatus to check the building for remaining residents.
No one was injured in the blaze.
Those evacuated were taken to Carrick Vale Community Centre, where police and council staff helped find them temporary accommodation.
All 16 flats in the block suffered fire or water damage.
