The body of a vulnerable missing man has been discovered in woodland.
Donagh Hickey, who is originally from Ireland, was reported missing from his flat in the south side of Glasgow on Saturday, August 4.
Strathclyde Police said the 30-year-old’s car had been found in Eaglesham, East Renfrewshire, late last week.
He had last been seen leaving his home in Shawlands by his flatmate.
Officers recovered Mr Hickey’s body at around 3pm on Sunday in a wooded area between Eaglesham and Jackton in South Lanarkshire.
A police spokeswoman said his family are aware while a post mortem examination will take place to establish the cause of death.
She added that the "death is not being treated as suspicious".
