A woman has died in a road crash in Possilpark in Glasgow.
The 37-year-old was a passenger when the Nissan Micra car she was in appeared to have lost control, mounted the pavement and hit a post box on Hawthorn Street.
She died after being taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary.
The driver suffered minor head injuries.
The accident happened around 8.15pm on Friday. Strathclyde Police say enquiries into the cause of the accident are continuing and are appealing for witnesses.
