A van driver has been taken to hospital after hazardous chemicals from drums he was transporting leaked.
Police and fire fighters are currently attending the site of the spillage at Leveshie, on the A887 near Invermoriston.
The driver reported the incident to the authorities at around 9am.
A 200m cordon has been placed around the area by emergency services as a precaution. The road’s maintenance firm will also attend the scene.
The driver has been taken to Raigmore Hospital to assess the effects of having been in close proximity to the substance.
Police say no neighbouring properties are currently at risk.
