A new £5.5million gambling venue opens to the public in Dundee on Friday night.
The casino is the seventh in the UK operated under the G Casino Brand.
Over 1200 people applied for 100 jobs at the premises in the city's West Marketgait, pictured above.
Most of the 100 staff selected had previously been unemployed.
Owners Grosvenor Casinos claim it will offer more than just gaming - with eating and entertainment facilties provided.
Linda Hodges, general manager of the new casino, said: "We've actually had a fantastic reaction.
"Everybody has been very excited about it, very supportive, happy to see such a fantastic venue coming to Dundee.
"I think it really is worthy of a major city so they have been very positive."
