Police have identified a body recovered from the River Almond as that of a missing local man.
22-year-old John Boylan from Whitburn hadn't been seen since September 3.
On the same day, police received reports an individual had been seen jumping or falling from a bridge.
Mr Boylan's body was recovered from the river on September 26.
His family have thanked the public for their response to appeals for information about his whereabouts.
Police say there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death and a report has been sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
