The funeral of a teenager who disappeared after jumping from rocks into water at a Highland beauty spot has been held near Loch Ness.
It took search crews nearly six days to find the body of Laurence Parrott, 17, who had jumped into a pool at the Falls of Foyer near Loch Ness while playing with friends.
His family said earlier: "Our whole family is devastated at the loss of our son. Laurence was full of life and was very determined, excelling at everything he put his mind to. We cannot put into words the loss that we feel.”
A service was held for family and friends at Boleskine Church near Loch Ness.
Laurence attended Stratherrick Primary and Inverness Royal Academy and was a drummer in a local band called 'The Soundtrack'.
