A body found during a search for a missing teenager at a Highland waterfall has been confirmed as that of 17-year-old Laurence Parrott.
The teenager from Inverness had been missing since jumping from rocks into a pool at the Falls of Foyers near Loch Ness on Sunday.
The discovery was made at around 3.15pm on Friday during searches of the area of the falls where Mr Parrott was last seen.
Formal identification has now taken place and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
Cairngorm Mountain Rescue Team conducted the probe the pool area where Laurence was last seen with the assistance of Highland and Islands Fire and Rescue personnel.
Coastguard crews had been searching the river area.
