Police searching for an Inverness teenager who went missing after a tombstoning stunt at a Highland waterfall have recovered a body.
Seventeen-year-old Laurence Parrott failed to emerge after jumping from over 100ft into a pool at the falls near Loch Ness on Sunday.
The discovery was made around 3.15pm on Friday during searches of the pool area at the Falls of Foyers in which Mr Parrott was last seen.
Formal identification is still to take place.
Cairngorm Mountain Rescue Team conducted the probe the pool area where Laurence was last seen with the assistance of Highland and Islands Fire and Rescue personnel.
Coastguard crews had been searching the river area.
