The search for a 17-year-old man who went missing near Loch Ness has resumed.
Laurence Parrott, from Errogie near Inverness, was reported missing after he dived into the River Foyers on Sunday at around 5pm.
He was last seen in the area of the river close to Lower Foyers village, and had been wearing white shoes, a black T-shirt and navy shorts.
A search involving the RNLI Loch Ness, coastguard, police and a helicopter was launched, but he was not found.
Speaking on Thursday night, Chief Inspector Andrew MacLean from Northern Constabulary, the officer in charge of co-ordinating the search, said: "We hope to probe the area further in an attempt to locate Mr Parrott. This search will involve members of the Cairngorm Mountain Rescue Team, Highland and Islands Fire and Rescue Service and police."
On Monday his parents paid tribute to the teenager. In a statement released by Northern Constabulary, Mr and Mrs Parrott said: "Our whole family is devastated at the loss of our son.
"Laurence was full of life and was very determined, excelling at everything he put his mind to.
"We cannot put into words the loss that we feel and would ask that our family be left alone to grieve in peace."
The area is a popular beauty spot thanks to its views of Loch Ness.
