A man has been arrested during a BNP supported demonstration in Midlothian.
He was one of 30 protesters who gathered in Dalkeith to demand that Da Vinci Code rapist Robert Greens is moved out the local area.
The 35 year old was charged with breach of the peace and will appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court at a later date.
The man was arrested shortly after BNP leader Nick Griffin arrived at Dalkeith Country Park on Saturday afternoon flanked by 20 supporters.
Greens, 34, was jailed in 2005 for attacking a Dutch student in the grounds of Rosslyn Chapel.
After his release from prison he was rehoused in Midlothian.
Residents and campaigners have been calling for him to be moved to another location.
Officers said an extensive police operation had been put in place to minimise disorder and maintain public safety.
Superintendent Phil O' Kane of Lothian and Borders Police, said: "Today's police operation was centred on keeping our communities safe, providing reassurance and keeping disruption to a minimum.
"I would like to thank members of the public for their patience and co-operation, particularly with regard to the temporary traffic restrictions that were put in place as a result of today's activity."
