A man has been taken to hospital with a head injury after falling 15 metres while climbing a Munro on the Isle of Skye.
The incident took place at around 4.30pm on Thursday.
The man, who is in his 60s, fell while climbing Sgurr Dubh Mor.
Members of Skye Mountain Rescue Team and the Stornoway Coastguard attended the scene.
The man and his wife were airlifted off the mountain to Broadford Hospital on the island.
Northern Constabulary said that their details will not be released.
