Two men have been arrested in connection with the alleged sexual assault of a schoolgirl in a seaside town, police said.
The 14-year-old was allegedly attacked while with a friend, also 14, in Alexandra Parade, Dunoon in Argyll and Bute at 11pm on Thursday June 28.
Strathclyde Police said two men, aged 27 and 28, have been arrested and are being detained in police custody in connection with the incident.
They are expected to appear at Dunoon Sheriff Court on Thursday.
A report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
