A man has been detained by police after another man was injured.
The 40-year-old was apprehended at a property on Carron Road in the Bainsford area of Falkirk.
The incident at 10pm on Monday saw a 43-year-old man injured.
He was taken to Forth Valley Royal Hospital for medical treatment and released thereafter.
The 40-year-old remains in police custody.
A spokeswoman for Central Scotland Police said: “Enquiries are continuing into the incident and we appeal for witnesses and information.”
