Investigation under way into suspicious death in Highland capital

An investigation is under way after the suspicious death of a man.

Police were called to Glenshiel Place in Inverness at around 10.30am on Friday.

They found the body of a man.

Northern Constabulary said they are treating the death as suspicious.

They were unable to release any more details about the man or how he died.

A spokesman for the force said: "Enquiries are still at an early stage and there is no further information at this time."
