Cocaine and heroin worth £19,000 recovered from car travelling on A90

Drugs haul: Car was stopped on the A90 near Stonehaven.

Two men have been arrested after police found £19,000 worth of heroin and cocaine in a car travelling on the A90.

The haul was discovered after the vehicle was stopped near Stonehaven on June 22 by officers from the Road Policing and Major Investigation Team.

A 56-year-old man from the local area and a 40-year-old man from Wolverhampton were arrested in connection with the incident.

A report is due to be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
