STV News covered the visit by Tibetan spiritual leader the Dalai Lama to Scotland in 2005.
During his visit, he said that Scottish devolution could provide a political solution to the plight of Tibet.
He was in Scotland to attend an international conference on the future of his country.
He said that he believed a devolved government, like that in Scotland, could be the way ahead for Tibet, which has been occupied by China since 1950
