A paedophile whose grandfather abused four children carried out sex attacks on two young girls.
Todd Hume targeted one of his victims over the space of almost two years between January 2006 and December 2007.
The other young girl was subjected to an attack between October and November 2006.
Hume was jailed for more than two years after his grandfather John Hume was sentenced to five years at the High Court in Glasgow for a separate series of abuse cases.
The 23-year-old, whose address was given as HMP Barlinnie, pled guilty to two charges of using lewd, indecent and libidinous practices towards the youngsters at properties in Glasgow's west end, on the second day of his trial at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday.
Both girls, aged 12 and 13 at the time of the incidents, gave evidence at the trial against Hume before he instructed his defence lawyer, solicitor advocate Tony Graham ,to tender pleas of guilty to the charges.
The younger of the two girls, who was attacked once, told the court she was "still playing with Barbies" at that age and described herself as being "innocent" then. The court heard that Hume had no recollection of his actions.
Hume also admitted scaring young boys at a primary school last October, which breached bail conditions at the time.
Sheriff Sam Cathcart jailed the sex attacker for a total of 26 months. Hume will also be monitored in the community for 11 months after his release and he was put on the sex offenders register.
