A 24-year-old woman has suffered a sexual assault after being attacked in a town at the weekend.
Grampian Police are investigating after the woman was sexually assaulted in the early hours of Sunday morning in Aberdeenshire.
She was attacked in the Broadsea area of Fraserburgh.
A Grampian Police spokesman said: "The 24-year-old female victim was left shaken by the incident but did not require hospital treatment."
Officers are appealing for anyone with information about the incident, or who may have been in the area at the time, to contact Grampian Police on 0845 600 5700 or anonymously at Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
