A 19-year-old was robbed at knifepoint on an Edinburgh street.
The man was walking through Stevenlaw's Close, a passageway between the Cowgate and the Royal Mile, when the thief pounced.
The attacker used a knife to force the victim to hand over his wallet.
The suspect is described as male, white, between 5ft 9in and 5ft 11in in height, and of slim build with wavy ginger hair. He was wearing a bright green hooded top, a black scarf, and black jeans. He spoke with a Glaswegian accent.
Police, who were called to the scene shortly after 11.10pm on Friday, want to talk with anyone who was in the area or has information about the robbery.
