A woman and her dog were attacked by a pack of three other dogs out with a man in Aberdeen.
Grampian Police said the woman and her pet were on a grass area between Balnagask Road and Farquhar Road in the city when the incident took place.
The attack happened between 3pm and 3.45pm on Monday.
The dogs are described as being two Staffordshire terriers, one brown in colour and the other white with tanned patches, and another unknown breed of dog described as having black curly hair.
Police say the man in control of the animals is 5ft 5inches tall, thin build, in his early 30s, with short mousey brown hair.
